Remaining English teams in Europe look to progress

Leicester City are to face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League while in the Europa League Manchester United have been drawn against Anderlecht for the quarter-finals of both competitions.

The Foxes who overcame Seville 3-2 on aggregate will travel to Spain yet again after Diego Simeone’s side beat Bayer Leverkusen 4-2 across the two legs.

Craig Shakespeare, who has currently won all of his three games in temporary charge of the East Midlands club, will be looking to make history against Manchester-United-vs-Leicester-Citythe Madrid side. The Premier League champions have faced Atletico on four previous occasions and have never been victorious.

In the Europa League Manchester United will be hoping to keep their hopes of Champions League qualification alive when they travel to Belgium on April 13th before returning to Old Trafford a week later.

Jose Mourinho who won this competition with Porto in 2003 might be in with a chance of winning the tournament again since United have not lost any games in the six meetings against the newly crowned Belgian Champions.
