This ‘warmer than average’ heat may not last that long though, as temperatures will be declining throughout the coming weeks.
The Met Office has warned that 80mph winds will be unleashed on Britain by the end of the week, when Storm Callum is set to reach our shores.
Rain and wind are on the way in typical British style, though the temperatures will still remain in the mid-teens.

There is a caveat to this heat though, as it has been attracting more rats in Southampton’s parks.
Experts warn that the warm weather has increased their breeding, and along with the general public and fast-food shops failing to discard their waste properly, this may aggravate Southampton’s rat issue.
Southampton City Council has currently not released a statement on how they are going to tackle with this issue.
